Morris Udall, D-Arizona, was found dead in her car on Saturday, the victim of an apparent suicide, a member of Udall's staff said on Sunday. He said the car was parked with the engine running in the Udall garage of their home in suburban McLean, Va. The death of Mrs.
Udall, 59, was an apparent suicide from carbon monoxide poisoning, he said. Spokesman Robert Neuman, Udall's administrative assistant, said he did not think Mrs. Udall was in ill health. He gave no cause for the apparent suicide. The couple had been married 19 years.
