I'm not sure why the approach behind evil chomik's theme is orchestral synth but GOD I wouldn't trade it for the world

This song goes so hard for literally not reason whatsoever and I love it

Its instruments as stated before are all orchestral of synth and it fits WAY too well with this "overarching menace" vibe

It's motif is also extremely good , I specifically love the last few notes where it just goes all over the place

Unexpectedly a 7/10

The autism song that makes my brain happy

Jokes aside the concept of using a sorting algorithm as a backup instrument is so insanely stupid and out there that it makes me so glad it was done well

The song itself goes through 2 parts, both equally as great and nice on the ears

The first part showcases this really playful beat that just feels like pure mindless purity to me and it feels so nice and relaxing to listen to

The second part is arguably better bringing in a more sinister tone, which when paired with the algorithm sounds so AWESOME

The entire thing just sounds so gorgeous from beginning to end and its a fitting candidate for a 10/10

From one peak sub-area song to another, simulation perfectly captures the feel of an abstract simulation which meshes PERFECTLY with the atmosphere of the area

Its motif feels stiff but in a strangely fluid way like its constantly jumping up and down sporadically and I LOVE IT

Its only real downside is its length but like I said WAY back for adornee that's not a massive hinderance and more of a "why isn't there more of this!"

Hotspot

Man I love weed its so awesome

Uhhhh the song is fine I think

Its like a drifting dunes scenario where its immediately outclassed but unlike drifting dunes, hotspot isn't interesting

I suppose being generous its not awful by any means but its just so nothing that it cant exactly call itself that great

JESUS CHRIST WHY IS IT SO BADASS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣

This song is, for literally no reason at all, one of the most intense songs in the soundtrack and for what purpose!

It uses the magmatism motif (which I love) so beautifully and vibrantly whilst still maintaining itself as a stand out of the OST and not just "lava obby"

Its instruments are also SO INSANE

The mix between orchestral and heavy synthwave is a BONKERS combo and yet it works almost FLAWLESSLY!!

Easy 9/10

I'm sure somewhere out there there's a person whos favorite song is this one

For what its worth its not that bad, in fact its bouncy and kinda catchy

It just falls into the trap of not being that memorable and just kinda blending in with the rest

Certainly not bad just not that good either

Rating this song alongside the others feels wrong because this is actually a excerpt from one of lempamo's separate songs (you can listen here)

Anyways as it is HERE its pretty good!

It almost flawlessly fits the vibe of a computer desktop to a surprising degree and generally has a really nice flow and catchy motif

My only real issue is that listening to it outside of its context feels off

This song is one of those that only works in the context that you're playing the game at the moment, in that regard once again it fits perfectly but it makes for an awkward time otherwise

Rating this is tricky so for now its a low 7/10

For what's probably the most unexpected area to get its own song I surprisingly like grief concealed

I can't say it compares to The Binding of Issacs's OST mainly because I haven't actually played the game however I can compare it to other lonely songs and in THAT regard it does a decent job

Its a bit too short to put THAT high but putting it in less than 5 or smth would make me feel bad so 6/10 dont @ me
