2024 Equal Justice Works Career Fair: Employer Registration (2024)

The Equal Justice Works Career Fair is the largest national public interest legal career fair, bringing together more than 250 public interest employers and over 2,500 dedicated law students and graduates under one virtual roof. It's the one-stop shop for all your recruitment needs.

This three-day virtual hiring event (October 9-11, 2024) will allow you to recruit for internships, externships, postgraduate positions, etc. You can opt-in to host prescheduled interviews and/or participate in more informal “table talk” discussions with 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, LLMs, and recent graduates. All event activities will take place in and be accessible via our Flo Recruit career fair platform. You can visit our website for additional information.

Please reach out to us at careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org with any questions.

REGISTRATION

Employer early bird registration will open on June 6 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Standard registration rates will go into effect on August 8.

You will register for this year's event via Eventbrite. You will then receive a separate email containing your organization's Flo Recruit login details within 1-2 business days of registering (excluding weekends). Once you have received your login details, you will be able to access your company's Flo Recruit profile and begin posting your available positions.

When registering via the Eventbrite form, you will only need to select a single registration rate for your organization. You do not need to register each potential recruiter. This means, you should only be purchasing one (1) ticket.

Please note: All deadlines are in Eastern Time (ET).

Prescheduled Interviews

Employers interested in interviewing candidates for specific positions will post their jobs on our career fair database, Flo Recruit, in advance of the event and will pre-select which candidates they would like to interview during the career fair.

This year, interviews will be 20 minutes with a 10-minute break between each interview.

Please note: These interviews will take place during the October career fair. Given our specific event-related deadlines, applicants cannot be interviewed prior to the event. Additionally, these are not informational interviews. Employers participating in the prescheduled interview process should be actively looking to fill available positions.

Employers conducting prescheduled interviews will also be expected to participate in our mandatory "table talk" sessions on the date(s) in which they are registered to participate in the event. These sessions will occur on Wednesday, October 9, Thursday, October 10, and Friday, October 11 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. ET. Prescheduled interviews will not take place during these times. Employers can use these opportunities to meet with attendees one-on-one or conduct informational sessions with multiple attendees at once. Law students will sign up for these opportunities in advance of the event.

Table Talk-Only Opportunities

Employers who are interested in participating in the career fair, but do not have any available job openings at the time of the event, are welcome to attend as a "Table Talk-Only" employer and speak with law students more informally. Employers can use these meetings to speak with attendees about specific opportunities within their organization, or as informational sessions. They will have the option to speak with attendees one-on-one or with multiple attendees at once. Law students will sign up for these opportunities in advance of the event.
